OceanMax Bio Balls are 6–8mm hollow plastic spheres that give beneficial bacteria a large surface to colonise, strengthening the biological stage of your filter.
Drop them into an aquarium canister, sump or hang-on unit, or a pond filter — the compact size suits tight media chambers, and they work just as well in a fish tank setup as in outdoor pond filtration. Rinse them in old tank water during maintenance and reuse them.
