This black sponge pad is a replacement pre-filter for the smaller Jingeye hang-on aquarium filters, cut to 79×64×9.6mm. It catches larger debris before that material reaches the rest of the media, so the filter keeps working cleanly between services.

If your fish tank filter’s original pad is torn, compressed or crumbling, a fresh sponge is a quick, low-cost fix instead of replacing the whole hang-on unit.

Good to know:
– Measures 79×64×9.6mm — compare with your filter’s original pad to confirm the fit
– Spare sponge for smaller Jingeye hang-on filters on aquariums and fish tanks
– Rinse in tank water rather than tap water to keep beneficial bacteria alive
