OceanMax activated carbon is the go-to chemical filter media for aquarium and fish tank filters. Its highly porous structure adsorbs dissolved impurities that mechanical media cannot catch, from odours and discolouration to tannins and medication residues, leaving the water fresher and clearer. The 500g quantity suits most hang-on, internal and sump filters, and is a handy amount for clearing a new tank’s smell or freshening a discoloured display.

Good to know:
– 500g activated carbon filter media
– Chemical filtration for odours, stains and dissolved impurities
– Place in a media basket or filter bag in your filter
– Rinse briefly before first use to clear dust
– Replace regularly, as carbon exhausts its capacity
