OceanMax Ceramic Rings are porous ceramic filter media that give nitrifying bacteria a large, stable home, helping break down ammonia and nitrite before they build up in your water.
They suit most filter types — hang-on, internal, canister and sump — in any aquarium or fish tank. Unlike foam or floss, the rigid rings do not clog or crumble: rinse them gently in old tank water during maintenance and they are ready to go again.
Good to know:
– Porous ceramic rings for biological filtration
– 500g quantity fills most media baskets or chambers
– For aquarium, fish tank, canister and sump filters
– Rinse in tank water and reuse
